A: I think that Antigone decided to take a stand for her brother, Polyneices, because she strongly believes that the gods are the makers of the unwritten laws and that everyone should go to the Underworld. She is very opininated and strong-headed and does not think that her uncle, King Creon, gets to make the choice if her brother should be buried or not.
